Factors Affect the Wastewater Flocculation &Coagulation

1. Sewage Temperature and pH: temperature is too high or too low and is not good for coagulation,20~30°C(68°F-86°F) is best.

2. Hydraulic Conditions: Hydraulics will break the aggregated
flocculate and affect the coagulation and sedimentation effect.

3. Particles Density: When the density of turbid particles is too low,
the collision probability between particles is greatly reduced and the coagulation effect becomes worse;

4. Types and dosage of flocculant.
